I stumbled across this wiki article about EDM mixing and thought it was pretty good as a starting point to better and punchier mixes. It ain’t the Bible, the techniques described in the article ain’t the only way to do things but it is a good starting point if you feel your mixes could be better. I shared the link with a couple of clients and overall I must say that their mixes sound a bit tighter and punchier since. Give it a try:
